How do I know whether I should include something as a keyword?

As a general rule, if a topic makes up at least 20% of a segment you should probably include it as a keyword. Choose words that are unique to that segment that will help users remember the content of that particular segment. Keywords should also be descriptive so try to avoid generic words like “fun” as much as possible. Choose keywords that give users a good sense of the content of the segment. In the end, if you think a word should possibly be a keyword and you have room to include it in the field, do – it can’t hurt. For more information on choosing keywords, see our video “What to Index”.
