Posted on August 21, 2014August 21, 2014 by Doug Boyd

The Nunn Center has created the new video tutorial “Using OHMS to Index Oral History: A Detailed Tutorial.”  This video outlines the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History’s approach to indexing oral history interviews using OHMS (Oral History Metadata Synchronizer). Specifically, this interview explores the subjective aspects of indexing and the specific decisions we make concerning how to index an interview.  This video will assist in providing a detailed explanation of Nunn Center policies with:

  • Creating good titles for interview segments
  • Writing a good synopsis
  • Using the particle transcript field
